Critical Tower Defense 2 getting started: strategy before stats

Start by reading your tower controls, placing towers on the path, and watching what happens when enemies reach them.

Read your loadout before the run

Read the descriptions of the towers in your chosen loadout. Identify which tower you can control confidently and what each available action does before adding more decisions.

Watch the path interaction

The current official description says towers can be placed on the path to stop enemies. Observe where enemies meet your towers and what happens next. If the run breaks at a particular point, use that moment as your next practice target.

Practice one decision at a time

Keep the same general setup while you learn one tower action or Pause Skill interaction. After the run, note which enemy interaction you struggled with, then adjust one decision for the next attempt. This is a learning method, not a details about an optimal loadout.
