How do Pause Skills work in Critical Tower Defense 2?
Pause Skills let your towers parry enemies directly. Read the current controls and watch the result of each activation.
Check the tower and control
The current official description attributes the parry to your towers. Read the selected tower or skill information in game to identify its available action and controls; do not assume every tower has identical timing or availability.
Give each attempt a clear purpose
Watch the enemy approaching the tower, activate the available Pause Skill, and observe the feedback. If the interaction does not work as expected, check whether the action was available and what the in-game instructions say before the next attempt.
Review the moment that ended the run
After a difficult encounter, focus on one detail you can change: your activation timing or the tower placement around that encounter. Repeat with one change so you can tell what helped. Exact timing windows and cooldowns are not established here.
